First of all, these books deal with some very erotic and sensitive subject material. If you are easily offended or prudish about sex, then these books are NOT for you! If you are looking for very plain vanilla romance, you've come to the wrong place. (Helloooooo, the title shoulda been yer first clue!) However, if you are looking for something with sizzle, you'll get it, and then some! :)

Here you will meet Brianna Bennett, as she is introduced to the erotic world of submission. This is much more than than a story full of hot and erotic sexual scenes. This is a story of discovery, understanding, and growth. More than just the story of one woman's journey of discovery as a full time submissive, it's also a deep and profound story of discovery of inner strength. The story of Brie and Sir is full of emotion that makes this a very difficult set of books to put down.

What I took away from this series is this: "Keep your heart and mind open to new ideas, and be willing to expand your boundaries, even just the tiniest of margins."

I've attempted to read a few BDSM themed short-stories in the past, and basically found them all to be total CRAP!! It was always about some ego-maniacal person that was only interested in humilating and/or degrading their partner. I would find it to be a huge turn-off and just delete it from my e-device. Red Phoenix didn't do that with this series. She writes the scenes with style and grace.

If you are hesitant or nervous about reading something on this subject and are thinking you don't want to spend the money and find out it totally grossed you out, I would suggest starting with the very first novella in the series, Brie's First Day of Submissive Training (Brie, #1), as it is currently a free book. But I'm pretty sure that once you get a taste of Brie (pun intended), you won't be disappointed. I bet you won't be able to hit that "Buy" button fast enough! :)
